Achievements

IEEE Telkom University Student Branch is always attempt to make the best performance on every possibility. Not only providing information and knowledge for IEEE Telkom University Member, we seek for many accomplishments as much as we can by participating on many competitions. Here below are achievements that we have obtained.


1st Winner of IEEE R10 Website Contest 2017

IEEE Region 10 Website Contest is a website competition for all student branches under the sections of R10. The competition is arranged by IEEE Region 10. As a winner, IEEE Telkom University Student Branch then proposed to submit our website as delegation to the IEEE World Website Contest 2017.

2nd Winner of Indonesia Student Congress (ISC) 2017 Paper Contest, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia

Indonesia student congress is a congress for all of IEEE Indonesia Section Student Branches. The title of paper that we compete to is “Smartcharge: Energy Wireless Transfer with Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting for Public Area” with its authors are Ananda Abdillah, Cesio Raihandary, and Satrio Yudo Prawiro. The event was held in Semarang, West Java, Indonesia, at July 29 – July 31, 2017.

IEEE ISC Most Active Student Branch 2017, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia

ISC is a congress for all of IEEE Indonesia Section Student Branches. In this congress, IEEE Telkom University Student Branch successfully bring the “Most Active Student Branch 2017” reward home. The event was held in Semarang, West Java, Indonesia, at July 29 – July 31, 2017.

Shortlisted ANZSCON Research Poster Competition, University of Technology, Sydney, 2017 

IEEE SB Telkom University members were successfully shortlisted to present a research poster in IEEE Australia – New Zealand Student & Young Professional Congress (ANZSCON) 2017. The event was held in University of Technology, Sydney, at August 10 – August 11, 2017. The research poster title is “Optimum UAV Flying Path for Device-to-Device Communications in Disaster Area”, with the Authors: Michelle Christine, Evander Christy, Bhaskara Narottama, M. Andre Mutalibov.

Best International Achievement of Student Organization 2017 in Telkom University, Bandung, 2017

This achievement is a reward from Telkom University for IEEE Telkom University Student Branch as a student organization that obtained best International accomplishments. This rewards was given directly by Telkom University rector on March 20, 2017.

1st Winner IEEE CMD Humanitarian Project Contest, Portland, Oregon, USA, 2016

IEEE Industry Applications Society CMD Support Committee and Humanitarian Programs Subcommittee initiated Humanitarian Project Contest in 2016 with slogan of empowering communities for better future. Communities are facing problems related to Energy, Water, Health, Sanitation, Transport and Agriculture etc throughout the world. This Humanitarian Project Contest is introduced to encourage Young Volunteers to find and implement feasible solutions for problems in a form of project for the underprivileged community under supervision of professionals (Faculty Advisors).

2nd Winner R10 SAC IEEE SB Cultural Exhibition in IEEE R10 Asia Pacific SYWL in Engineering Congress, Bangalore, India, 2016

R10 SAC IEEE SB Cultural Exhibition is a competition in which we have to present our national cultures to the audience. It’s shows that Indonesia have a marvelous cultures that we should be proud of. This competition was held by IEEE R10 Committee.

2nd Winner Paper Competition in Indonesia Student Congress, Denpasar, Bali, 2016

Indonesia student congress is a congress for all of IEEE Indonesia Section Student Branches. The title of paper that we compete to is “SmartChange: Wireless Power Transfer Solution on Public Area” with its authors are Bhaskara Narottama and Viola Fabianto. The event was held in Denpasar, Bali, July 30 – August 1, 2016.

3rd Winner IEEE Student, Young Professionals, and Women in Engineering Region 10 Asia Pacific Congress, Colombo, Sri Lanka, 2015
